Last Sunday Walter and his parents came to visit for a few hours. We enjoyed a little lunch and then kicked back and relaxed. Tim has just finished refurbishing the deck that he originally built over 15 years ago. He replaced all the deck boards with new ones. Meet Patience Gina. She was born at Baby Land General Hospital in Cleveland GA. Her "father" was Xavier Roberts. We took a trip up to Frisco today to watch the Rough Riders (AA minor league for the TX Rangers) play ball. The morning started out rainy but by game time the rain had left and it was a bit overcast and pleasant. It being an 11:00 start on a weekday meant a small crowd which was okay with us. While our North Carolina family were working their yard sale Saturday, Mel and I were working in our yard. Michael and Jill flew out to Vegas last week for a little r&r so Mel and I headed to Cypress to spend time with Jacob and Josh. We went down there last Saturday and came home yesterday. It was a week filled with lots of activities. It's very quiet around our house today and we both miss the boys. Tim's dad Art will be 90 years old in August. Way back when, he graduated from Cornell University, served in World War II, worked as an engineer for AT&T for many years and then retired. He recovered from major heart surgery only 3 years ago. He reads the newspaper every day and voted in the last presidential election. This picture was taken two months ago. Amazing.
