I actually looked it up today and saw that June 7th, 2007 was the last time I made a post. I have no excuse, not that you would believe one at this time. It's been too long and I will truly try to do better in 2008.
The Barrs in Shreveport have been doing fine. Busy with the kids taking semester exams and shopping for Christmas. I'm planning on taking off work next week and hope to get in some tennis and pingpong.
You should be getting our annual Christmas picture in the mail soon. This is the one I wanted to send but I got out-voted 4-1. So I will show it to you on this site. Merry Christmas to all.

Oh John we knew you were alive - you were just in hiding.
I really don't believe you can play ping pong and the only way to prove it is to post a picture of you in action on this blog. I'll be waiting...
