Except for the photo, I have never seen these pieces before. I take it that the reception was that evening - surely not before the ceremony? And Marie was not in the wedding because she was a nun? How interesting all of this is. Great post!

And wouldn't we see that dress again many years later?
I believe after the ceremony they had a sit down lunch at the Bodsford Inn then later that evening, a reception at Nana's.
Yes, 31 years later I wore the same dress and still have it.
