The flowers from the wedding in October 2006 were the beautiful hydrangeas. White for the bride and blue for the attendants.
We have a hydrangea bush on the side of our house. Last summer it did not bloom - I think because it had been pruned back so far. This summer they have come back to see us.
I had to have some of these in the house. I grabbed the scissors and away I went.

Beautiful...Beautiful.
How long will they last in the vase? on the bush?
The blooms should stay on the bush through August or so. As for the ones in the vase, I'm not sure how long they'll last.
I did a search on-line. These particular hydrangeas are called mopheads. I like that name.
Beautiful! As you know, I love hydrangeas :)
