A sweet memory: Years ago the posted picture was hanging in the hallway of our house. As a little toddler, Michael looked up at it and said,"I didn't know Papaw was a policeman."
I vividly remember this photo. What a treasure. I chatted with a WWII vet waiting in line at lunch today. He said he thinks about the soldiers overseas today - he thinks about them every day and wishes them well.
