10141 Daria Place, Dallas is the new home of George and Laura Bush. Right now they are down in Crawford at their ranch while this home is being remodeled. As you can see from the first picture above the neighbors all have signs out welcoming the Bush family home. (They left Dallas 14 years ago when George became our Governor)
Mel and I did a test run down to their house last week. We know the former President is a very prompt person so we wanted to make sure we knew where we were going when we get that first invitation to go bike riding.

Great picture! And what a nice house. I wonder how it would be to have a former President for a neighbor? I imagine the neighborhood would certainly be different.
I wonder if the former President will do his own yardwork? Did you see many secret service agents around??
Saw no agents around...but if you click on the first pic, you'll notice a white panal truck. I thought it was a media truck but they could have been in there. The city is going to gate Daria St. which leads to the cul-de-sac Daria Pl. The Bushes are paying for this. They came up from their ranch this week to look at the house. This was the first time he had seen it.
