Finding my mojo

So I've had a dry spell in the blogosphere. There's not too much going on that is new or different for me. So I am aimlessly taking cell phone pictures of myself in the gym to prove that I am still alive and kickin'.

I want to keep in shape because of a very important wedding I will be attending in about 11 days. Also, I will become a Grandmother in a few months - a role in which I will want to stay healthy. I am very excited about these upcoming events. The "Life is Good" mantra frequently enters my mind.

I still have not yet figured out these big, bouncy balls and what I'm supposed to do. I have to admit, they are really very comfortable just to sit on and do a little bounce every now and then. If I start bouncing around too much I become a little disoriented. Falling off one of these balls and becoming injured is not something I would want to explain to anyone.

My workout routine consists of 40 minutes of cardio, bench pressing 45 lbs at 15 reps 2 times and then some other Nautilus upper body weight machines. I do this 3 x week. It could all be very boring, except I rotate watching either Oprah, Ellen or Wolf Blitzer on TV. Between the three, one of them will entertain me.

What do you mean "There's not too much going on that is new or different for me" ???

You are about to add "mother of the groom" to your resume AND "grandma" (aka Mimi).

And by the way, I plan to use one of those bouncy balls at the hospital during labor. They say it helps to sit on it during labor.
